Ski area Unternberg

The "Unternberg" ski area is characterised above all by its family friendliness and manageability. 3 ski lifts take ski lovers up to 1,417 m above sea level. A total of 2.5 km of mostly easy and medium pistes and 3.6 km of ski routes await you. For advanced skiers we recommend the descent from the Unternberg Alm, on which you have to overcome a difference in altitude of 550 m. The slopes are suitable for beginners and advanced skiers alike.

Only a few minutes by car from Ruhpolding is the skiing area Winklmoos-Steinplatte, where you can discover about 20 km of perfectly groomed slopes.

Night skiing Ruhpolding

Thanks to a floodlight system, night skiing is also possible in the Unternberg ski area near Ruhpolding. So all skiers who could not get enough of winter sports during the day can still let off steam on the slopes at dusk or in the dark. The floodlit slope is 1 km long and is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 16:00 and 20:00 when snow conditions are good. It is located in the lower part of the ski area around the FIS lift. As it has both blue and red sections, night skiers of all skill levels are in good hands here and can turn night into day.

Après ski Ruhpolding

In addition to skiing and cross-country skiing, Ruhpolding offers numerous other possibilities for sporting activities. For example, tobogganing on the natural track is guaranteed to be a lot of fun. Snowtubing is also a special experience and friends of the little yellow ball will get their money's worth in the tennis hall.

If you prefer a more cosy atmosphere, you should explore the idyllic surroundings with a walk or a horse-drawn sleigh ride. In addition, the various gastronomic facilities invite you to end the day in a comfortable way. With the "eXtra-Card" you also have free access to the ice rink or the "Vita Alpina" adventure pool with indoor wave pool.
