Andorra la Vella

Andorra la Vella is the capital of the microstate of Andorra and lies in the heart of the Pyrenees. With around 468,000 km², Andorra is the largest of the European microstates in terms of surface area, with almost 78,000 residents calling it their home. Especially in winter, the country attracts millions of tourists with the largest European ski area outside the Alps. Located directly at the border to France is the Grandvalira region. It stretches over the two Andorran districts Encamp and Canillo, and presents itself as the largest skiing region in the Pyrenees. The towns and villages in the region are all different, and each has something to offer everyone – regardless if you are planning a family or party holiday.
