Ski area Kaunertal Glacier
In Fendels, beginners will find mainly easy and moderately difficult pistes. Children can let off steam in Bibiland. One particularly beautiful piste is the descent to the valley, which leads past idyllic larch forests. For experienced skiers, the Planggerlift also opens up some steep and sporty runs.
On the Kaunertal Glacier, winter sports enthusiasts can ski between 2,180 and 3,108 metres above sea level. Thanks to Austria's highest post bus stop, you can even take the post bus up to 2,750 metres above sea level. The glacier ski area is known for its pleasantly wide and relatively flat pistes. However, it is also particularly popular with freestylers - thanks to the snowpark at 2,990 metres - and with freeriders, who can find a number of off-piste runs here. There is also free Wi-Fi in the snowpark and in the restaurants.

But there are also plenty of sporting activities on offer. Ice skaters can do their laps on the ice skating rink in Feichten or you can try your hand at Bavarian curling. The natural toboggan run in Fendels takes you 4.5 kilometres down the mountain. To relax and swim, head to the "Quellalpin" in Feichten, where you will also find a fitness studio, a bouldering hall, a sauna and a restaurant.
Snowpark Kaunertal Glacier: Snowpark Kaunertal
Do you want a very special freestyle experience, the latest obstacles and the opportunity to enjoy a snowpark at any level? Then the "Snowpark Kaunertal" is made for you! The park's various kicker and obstacle lines can be easily combined with each other. As a newcomer to the area, you get the best entry-level opportunities on minishreds with easy jibs and jumps and can learn a thing or two from the pros on the scene at the same time.
Multiple lines with different elements make freestyle hearts beat faster. From the flat-down picnic combo, the 6-metre-long PE pipe and the start funbox, various kickers to the 9-metre-long step-up flat boxes and the 6-metre-long gunpipe, there is something for everyone.
For those who want to share their latest tricks with friends, there is even free Wi-Fi available in the park area.
