Ski area Church village
The Kirchdorf ski lifts in Yappy's Winterland provide fun on a family-friendly piste right in the village. From there, it is only a few metres to the entrance to the St. Johann in Tirol - Oberndorf ski area, which is located between the famous Kitzbüheler Horn and the Wilder Kaiser. The 40 kilometres of piste in St. Johann in Tirol/Oberndorf stretch from 659 to 1,604 metres above sea level and are easily accessible with ten lift systems. The peak at Harschbichl can be reached via three gondola lifts, which run up from different sides of the mountain. Families and beginners in particular get their money's worth thanks to the predominantly easy to moderately difficult pistes.
With the SuperSkiCard, you have an incredible 2,840 kilometres of piste and 946 lift systems in two countries and six federal states at your disposal. With three glaciers - the Kitzsteinhorn, the Dachstein and the Mölltal Glacier - this ultra ski pass offers 200 days of fantastic fun on the slopes and reliability of snow. Après ski Church village
From the "Bacheralm", from where you have a fantastic view of the Wilder Kaiser, a natural toboggan run leads back down into the valley. You can get up there on an approx. 45-minute hike or you can choose to be pulled up on your sledge.
You can also enjoy the snowy winter landscape of the Kitzbühel Alps to the fullest away from the pistes, for example on a snowshoe hiking tour, ice skating or on a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride.
If you are looking for an alternative to sport and partying, you will also find pure relaxation, for example in the Kaiserquell sauna world in Kirchdorf in Tirol or in various beauty spas in Kirchdorf, Oberndorf, St. Johann and Erpfendorf.
Snowpark Church village: Steinplatte snowpark
There is a snowpark and two funslopes in the ski areas of the 3-Länder-Freizeit-Arena. The Kitzbühel Alps ski region is extremely popular and known for its reliability of snow. There is also plenty on offer for risk-takers.
The Steinplatte snowpark is located on descent 4, is sunny and centrally located and extends over the entire length of the neighbouring 8-seater Kappelenbahn. The snowpark offers four lines divided into three sections, catering to the needs of every freestyler. There are different levels of difficulty (fun, easy, medium, pro). The Steinplatte also attracts visitors with its relaxed atmosphere, creative elements and a professionally prepared park every day.
