Location

The historic Hotel Resterhöhe Berghütte & Lodge is situated in a panoramic location approx. 16.5 km from the centre of Mittersill, at an altitude of approx. 1,780 m, offering ski-in and ski-out access. It is approx. 13.2 km to the centre of Jochberg. Cross-country skiing is available on the network of trails some 13.2 km away.

Facilities

The hotel features various amenities, such as Wi-Fi, a library, a common room, a breakfast room, a hotel restaurant and a hotel bar. Guests can store their ski and snowboarding equipment in a ski cellar. Drivers can use a parking lot (for a fee) - subject to availability.

Spa

Our wellness area invites its guests to indulge body and soul and enjoy a log cabin sauna.

Children

The children's playroom offers a range of play experiences for young guests to keep them content and entertained. Cots are provided for a fee, high chairs can be used free of charge (upon request and availability).

Entertainment

Sports facilities and activities at the hotel include a gym.

Board

When booking rooms on a half-board basis, meals include a welcome drink and a generous breakfast buffet featuring regional produce. In the evening, you’ll be served a 3-course menu featuring popular regional dishes, as well as the regular Snow BBQ. Lactose-free, gluten-free and vegetarian alternatives are also available on request.

Important notes

• When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
• This accommodation is not wheelchair-accessible.
• Please note: Your accommodation is situated in the heart of the ski resort; access is only possible via the lift (Resterhöhe) and within the lift’s opening hours. Arrival is no longer possible after 15:30! On the day of arrival, you can use the cable car free of charge from 14:30 to reach your accommodation, provided you have booked a lift pass for the following day. You can take your luggage up the mountain free of charge on the gondola; it will be stored at the top station, marked "Resterhöhe". Luggage is transported automatically between the lift and your accommodation, so it will be delivered to your accommodation between 16:00 and 17:30.
• Provided you have booked a lift pass, the car park at the Resterhöhe lift is available to you free of charge.
• In the event of a late arrival, you and your luggage will be collected from the lift by Skidoo and taken to your accommodation. However, a Skidoo transfer is only possible in exceptional cases and is subject to weather conditions and the lift’s approval. There is no entitlement to this service, which is for a fee. We therefore recommend arriving early via the lift, by 15:30 at the latest.
• If you have booked a lift pass, this entitles you to a 50% discount at the indoor pools at the AQUARENA Kitzbühel swimming centre.
• If you have booked equipment through us, the ski hire shop is located in Uttendorf (approx. 8 km away).
