Cross-country Saalfelden

Information on cross-country skiing

150 km Cross-country trails (in km):

Saalfelden Leogang has developed into a real cross-country skiing stronghold in Austria in recent years and is a veritable paradise for lovers of Nordic sports. The approximately 150 km long network of cross-country trails runs through the entire Saalachtal valley and especially around Saalfelden. The well-maintained trails are suitable for all levels and styles.

Those who want to and are fit enough can even ski as far as the neighbouring villages of Maria Alm, Maishofen or the biathlon World Cup metropolis of Hochfilzen. The varied cross-country trails range from demanding World Cup trails to numerous connecting trails for beginners and advanced skiers.
