Ski area Tauplitz
The Tauplitz is the largest ski area in the Schneebärenland ski area with around 43 kilometres of piste and 17 ascent options. Thanks to its favourable geographical location and modern snow-making facilities, the area is particularly reliable in terms of snow and offers winter sports fun from December to April.
The ski area is suitable for winter sports enthusiasts of all abilities: Beginners and pleasure skiers will find gentle pistes, while experienced skiers and freeriders will experience exciting challenges on wide descent runs and special freeride areas. Ski tourers also get their money's worth here. Families can let off steam in the children's ski area or have fun off-piste with snow tubing. Extensive pistes and varied descents ensure an active and eventful winter holiday.
Après ski Tauplitz
For those who prefer things a little quieter, you can try out traditional Bavarian curling, known locally as "Eisstöckln", or go on a winter hike through the snow-covered landscape to the Kulm. The world's largest and most modern natural ski jump offers an impressive view, and if you look down from the inrun tower, you can get an impression of what it feels like for ski flyers.
