Tux
The municipality of Tux, with its five districts, forms the end of the Zillertal valley. The characteristic Tyrolean villages of Vorderlanersbach, Lanersbach, Juns, Madseit and Hintertux stretch over a length of 8 km and are located at an altitude of between 1,300 and 1,500 m. The municipality offers direct access to the Rastkogel and Eggalm ski areas and the Hintertux Glacier ski area.In addition to its lively après-ski scene, the Tux Valley offers a wide range of leisure activities for sports enthusiasts. Those seeking peace and quiet can take advantage of one of the numerous spa offers and relax. A descent into the Spannagel Cave on the Hintertux Glacier is a special experience. With a shaft length of 10 km and a depth of up to 25 m, it is one of the most important caves in Tyrol.
Zillertal
Zillertal, sometimes referred to as the "most active valley in the world", is situated in the heart of Tyrol in the Zillertal Alps, directly on the border with South Tyrol. The relatively flat valley is full of possibilities! 535 kilometres of piste, 194 lifts, and snow security at 3,250 m – welcome to Ziller Valley! The "Zillertaler Superskipass" is valid for all km of piste in the Ziller, Gerlos, and Tux valleys and at the Wildkogel.
