Ski area Kašperské Hory
Only approx. 400 m from the town centre lies the local ski area "Skiareal Kašperské Hory" operated by the company Snowhill. It offers 3 tow lifts for access to two blue runs and one more challenging red run. The pistes can all be covered by artificial snow, which secures diversity and accessibility. On one of the blue runs there is a slalom run with time tracking, and the main slope is also open various nights per week with floodlights for night skiing.
The small ski centre offers full tourism infrastructure with ski schools and rental stations, as well as a test centre. If you need a break during the day, there is a cosy restaurant available at the mountain station, as well as a bistro/café at the valley station. The practice area of the ski school, which also offers lessons in English, is separate from the public area and provides an own lift for the beginner area and also grants access to a child-friendly snow-tubing run.

Night skiing Kašperské Hory
Night skiing is a popular leisure time activity also in this part of Czech Republic. Kašperské Hory offers night-time skiing fun on a regular basis, and it offers a quite respectable night ski areas. Two pistes at the local ski mountain with a length of 1 km are illuminated for night skiing - like this, the floodlights illuminate almost the whole area in Kašperské Hory for night skiing. The Double Max towlift extends its operation hours for fans of night-time skiing from 18:00 to 21:00. Between Christmas and New Year's Eve, night skiing is even available on a daily basis. The leisure facilities after a day out on skis is mainly quiet and relaxing in Kašperské. The hilly landscape is a fantastic place for short walks as well as long hikes or snow shoe hikes. To enjoy some couple quality time, children can be minded in the leisure centre Sumara 2000, where 100 m² play area the little ones can have a fun time on e.g. the slide and a climbing wall. Bad weather activities can be found with e.g. the Bowling Bar and history fans can learn about the town's heritage in the Bohemian Forest Museum. The Museum for Motorbikes or the ones for Czech toys are also great for interesting change. You will be spoilt for culinary options in the guest houses and restaurants with their typical bohemian kitchen.
Snowpark: Snowpark Kašperské Hory
The snow park in the centre of the Kašperské Hory ski area is something to be proud of and attracts many young people. Big kickers challenge every boarder and different boxes and rails round off the offer. Beginners will also get their money's worth. The park is prepared and tended daily by experts and can even be lit up in the evenings.
