Ski area Isola 2000
Beginners can mainly enjoy the practice areas directly above the village or on the "Les Marmottes" chair lift. Experienced skiers are more likely to head for the Mercière Pass or the areas below the peaks of the Cime de Sistron, the Cime de Merlier or the Cime de Méné. In the high season, the fun on the slopes is extended into the evening twice a week. The blue Chapelle piste is then floodlit until 10 p.m.
Deep powder snow fans will also find suitable areas, for example at Col de Mercière, Cime de Méné or Mont St. Sauveur. Freestylers, on the other hand, will feel right at home in the Isola 2000 snowpark, Tony's Snowland.
Night skiing Isola 2000
Skiing at night is also possible in the family-friendly Isola 2000 ski area. The small, fine night skiing area is located above the ski station, in the centre of the ski area, close to the Family Park and the cross-country ski trail. Here, the blue "Chapelle" piste is floodlit over a distance of around 1.5 kilometres. The Belvedere t-bar lift takes skiers up to the start of the night ski piste. This is usually in operation until 10 pm. Both the lift and the piste are easy to master for beginners and children, allowing the whole family to enjoy skiing well into the evening. Night skiing takes place during the Christmas and winter holidays.Après ski Isola 2000
If you want to be active off the piste, you can book a guided snowshoe hiking tour through the winter landscape around the village. There is also a small toboggan run. Even more adventurous is a tour on a snowmobile or driving training on ice. Another highlight is ice skating on the local ice rink. Finally, you can relax at the AQUAVallée in nearby Isola. There is a swimming area with children's pool and slide, two saunas, a hammam and a jacuzzi.
Snowpark Isola 2000: Snowpark Tony's Snowland
Tony's Snowland attracts all freestylers with a varied range of obstacles. Beginners can hone their first tricks in the Easy Park. Advanced riders, on the other hand, are drawn to the slopestyle area or Tony's Biopark. This special zone with obstacles, all made of wood, is hidden away in the forest. Here you can experience nature-friendly freestyle fun! The Isola 2000 ski area also has a boardercross course.
If you still want to hone your jumps, you can do so without fear of a bumpy landing on the Isol'Air 2000, a large air cushion that enables soft landings after daring jumps.
