Cross-country Bad Wörishofen

Among the winter guests in Bad Wörishofen, not only skiers but also fans of Nordic skiing can take a day trip to the skiing strongholds of the Allgäu. Nesselwang also has 4 kilometres of cross-country ski trails, which take you past frozen lakes, snow-covered forests and a beautiful mountain panorama.

After all, you can't complain about a lack of cross-country skiing trails in Oberstaufen, just 98 kilometres away - on the contrary. A total of around 100 km of groomed trails await you around the town in winter! Ideal for beginners is the 2 km long Kalzhofer trail, which can also be used in the evening thanks to floodlights. The sporting highlight is the almost 50 km long super trail, which leads from Alpsee to Waldsee and is a must for experienced and fit cross-country skiers.

Füssen, 58 km from Bad Wörishofen, is also considered a top region for cross-country skiers with around 25 kilometres of trails. An easy circuit for beginners is the trail to the Schorenhof, a beautifully flat 8 km circuit with mountain views. The trails to the boat harbour on nearby Forggensee (3 km) or to Weißensee (8 km) are ideal for skiers with a little more experience.
