There are 44 km of cross-country trails available around the Brauneck ski area. In total, there are 112 km in the Isarwinkel region. Trails are available for both classic and skating styles.
A classic among the cross-country trails is the route into the wild and romantic Jachenau. Another highlight is the 13 km high-altitude trail in the Engtal valley, nestled between steep rock faces. The longest trail in Lenggries is the route via Wegscheid into the Schwarzenbachtal valley. In addition, there is a 1.5 km night trail near the valley station of the Brauneckbahn.
