Ski area Winterberg

The "Winterberg ski lift carousel" offers you wonderful skiing fun on 27.5 kilometres of pistes in the 6 areas of Astenstrasse, Bremberg, Herrloh, Kappe, Kahler Asten and Poppenberg. A total of 18 lifts are available at altitudes of up to 809 metres. The largest contiguous ski area north of the Main Line is located around 20 km from Olsberg and offers you numerous slopes with different levels of difficulty and therefore plenty of variety during your holiday! Young winter sports fans and beginners have the opportunity to try their first attempts on skis on the practice slopes or to really let off steam on one of the toboggan runs. For real experts, the slalom slope, the steepest descent north of the Alps, is a particular challenge. The black piste at the St. Georg ski jump is also a real highlight. Winter sports fun after sunset is not neglected in Winterberg either: a total of 8 kilometres of pistes can be floodlit, ensuring plenty of fun well into the evening!

Après ski Olsberg

In Olsberg, various restaurants invite you to linger in a cosy atmosphere. Treat yourself to Sauerland specialities in the historic pubs and restaurants. For those who like to party in the evening, Winterberg, approx. 20 km away, also offers a variety of options. Several ski huts, discos and clubs await you there. You should not miss the "Dorf Alm", which opened in 2010. The younger crowd likes to meet up at the "Alpenrausch" disco. The Irish pub "The Blackwater" is also worth a visit. You are sure to find the right evening programme for you. Whether in a relaxed atmosphere with a glass of wine or with a hearty snack and extensive après-ski - there is something for every taste!
