Ski holidays Bressanone – skiing fun with medieval flair!
Bressanone
Bressanone (German: "Brixen)" lies at 560 m altitude and, with its over 1,000 years of history, is the oldest and also third largest town in South Tyrol. The ancient bishop's town at the river Eisack offers, besides its winter sports, also a number of cultural sights. Lovely churches, monasteries and chapels are awaiting your visit, as well as the quaint alleys with their cosy shops and restaurants. The pistes and the impressive peaks of the Dolomites are always within sight. The local mountain "Plose" takes you up to 2,505 m. Due to its soft slopes it is especially suitable for skiing and it is also perfectly connected to the lift system.Valle Isarco
The Valle Isarco lies in the heart of South Tyrol and stretches from Brennero to the mouth of the Adige near Bolzano. Dominated by the River Isarco, the valley impresses with its varied landscape at any time of year. In winter, 95 kilometres of pistes of varying degrees of difficulty invite you to ski. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, there is something for everyone here. The beautiful wide pistes are very suitable for families with children. Thanks to its special location, the region is considered to be very sunny and snow-sure. There are also many opportunities to spend a varied day away from the piste.Travel Bressanone
