Ski holidays Brienz - Ski village with lots of charm and comfort!
Brienz
The cosy resort of Brienz lies in the Berner Oberland, ideally next to Lake Brienz with its turquoise waters, and at the foot of the massive mountains, of which invite you to enjoy extensive winter hikings, ski tours and Alipne ski runs. Brienz has a great history as a woodcarving village and still places great value in well-crafted, sustainable wood workings. It's not without reason that there are two traditional schools for wood sculpting as well as violin construction. The resort captivates especially with its homey atmosphere, old resort centre, rustic alleys and gorgeous boardwalks that invite you to take a leisurely stroll, as well as many little cafes and restaurants that invite you to stop by. The resort centre not only has historical value, but also the oldest steam-cog railway in Switzerland. The railways runs up to the Breienzer Rothorn (2,244 m), where you can experience a winter wander hike unlike any other with an impressive view.Meiringen-Hasliberg
The Hasli Valley with it's popular and family-friendly winter sports resorts is located in midst of the Bernese Oberland. Here you can enjoy wonderful panoramic views of the beautiful Glogghüs (2,534 m) and Rothorn (2,525 m). The region is especially appealing to winter sports fans: with 60 kilometres of pistes and 18.5 km of cross-country trails you will find a lot of diversity; pure winter fun is guaranteed. You don't need to go searching for something to do off-piste either. The Hasli Valley places emphasis on relaxation, culture, fun and action. As it has so much to offer children, it has been awarded the "family welcome" seal of approval.Travel Brienz
