Ski area Torrent-Leukerbad
The Torrent-Leukerbad ski area offers around 47 groomed kilometres of piste and 14 ski lifts at an altitude of 1,411 to 2,610 metres. Due to the topographical conditions and the high reliability of snow, the area in the Valais Alps is perfect for skiing.
The descents to the valley to Leukerbad and Flaschen are particularly varied, as the pistes vary in width and many sections lead through spruce forests. Equally impressive is the 11 km long piste that starts at the Schwalbennest mountain station and has an altitude difference of 1,199 metres. Here and also around the Torrentalp and the Rinderhütte, more demanding skiers get their money's worth, and freeriders can also let off steam on six kilometres of ski routes. Freestylers can use the small but excellent snowpark at the Schwalbennest lift. The Sportarena snowpark is particularly suitable for children, as there are special children's ski schools, day care, magic carpets and other practice lifts.

After a day on the piste, the Leukerbad holiday region offers various ways to round off the evening. At the Valais Alpine Spa, for example, you can take advantage of relaxation and body care programmes or enjoy medical wellness treatments. In the Leukerbad sports arena, you can choose the right activity from the wide range of sports on offer all year round. In addition to climbing, ice skating and squash, you can also try out the indoor football pitch or play billiards. If you prefer to spend your evening outdoors, you can also use the 150-metre-long toboggan run and the new snowtubing track in the Sportarena snowpark or explore nature on one of the 40 kilometres of winter hiking trails.

The beginner-friendly fun park is located directly at the Schwalbennest lifts and offers various kickers, rails, boxes and other obstacles. The natural terrain is the perfect practice terrain for beginners and advanced riders.
