Cross-country Altaussee

In the Ausseerland - Salzkammergut cross-country skiing region you will find around 176 km of cross-country trails in all levels of difficulty. The 13 km circular trail directly in Altaussee is suitable for both classic-style and skating-style skiing and leads through the beautiful landscape, starting from the Loser Skiarenabis to the Blaa Alm. From the Blaa Alm it goes downhill towards Ausseer Rettenbachalm to the lowest point of the cross-country trail.

In Bad Aussee, about 5 km away, you will find a total of 34 kilometres of cross-country trails with an unmistakable view of the Dachstein and the Loser. The cross-country trail takes you across the beautiful Reiter plateau to the Sommersbergsee lake. You return via the golf course.
