Ski holidays Sölden - party umbrellas and powder snow!

Sölden

The World Cup resort of Sölden (1,377 m), located in the centre of the Ötztal valley, is one of Europe's most famous skiing and snowboarding centres and also a legendary après-ski destination. The ski area (1,350 - 3,340 m) consists of the famous Rettenbach and Tiefenbach glaciers and Sölden's home ski area, Giggijoch-Gaislachkogel. These are connected to the glacier by lift, creating a 143 km of perfectly groomed slopes. The "Big 3" in the Sölden ski area, three three-thousand-metre peaks with viewing platforms and 360° panoramic views, also offer a very special attraction for admiring the breathtaking mountain world.

In the afternoons and evenings, it's "party time" in the huts and in the village. That's when the party really gets started! Sölden has a tourist infrastructure that leaves nothing to be desired. At the heart of it all is the Freizeit-Arena, home to the lovingly designed Ötztaler Alpenbad swimming pool in Tyrolean style with a 25-metre pool and adventure sauna. There is also a sports and tennis hall, a gym, bowling alleys and a cinema. Numerous shops along the main street invite you to stroll around. In addition, admission to the James Bond Erlebniswelt - 007 ELEMENTS is included in the price of a 6-day lift pass or longer.

Ötztal

Few alpine valleys have as much to offer a guest as the Ötztal in Tyrol: kilometres of piste en masse and for all abilities, very modern lift systems, extensive cross-country tracks and around 250 mountains looming at 3000 m throughout the Ötztal Alps - skiers' pulses will certainly race! Additionally, there is an abundance of cleared winter hiking trails, rustic huts and in the evenings - depending on taste - an upbeat mood in the numerous discos and bars, a fun sledding party or night skiing. Quaint winter villages, the most prominent winter sports resorts, and not least the Aqua Dome in Längenfeld, which promises rest and relaxation - no wish is left unfulfilled!
