The Monte Rosa ski area offers trails as far as the eye can see! Amidst the mountain backdrop of the three- and four-thousand-metre peaks around Gressoney-Saint Jean, cross-country skiers can enjoy a breathtaking view over a distance of 24 km. Brusson offers 38 km of trails and Alagna another 12 km, including the 1.5 km "Pianalunga" high-altitude trail at 2,050 m, from which you have a wonderful view of the magnificent winter landscape. Alagna and Gressoney also have floodlit trails. In total, the Valle d'Aosta offers over 300 kilometres of trails in every category! A fee must be paid for most of the trails.
