Ski holidays Champoluc - skiing in a magnificent mountain scenery!
Champoluc
Overlooked by the imposing Monte Rosa massif and not far from the famous four-thousand-metre peaks of the Valais Alps and the Mont Blanc group lies Champoluc. The town is considered the tourist centre of the Aosta Valley, where both culture and party can be found. Gressoney-Saint Jean still exudes an original, idyllic charm. Although it is now well adapted to tourism, the villages in the centre of the Monte Rosa ski area have managed to preserve their typical Walser houses. Off-piste fun is provided by various restaurants and bars and also the ice-skating rink. Exciting action can be found in ice climbing or paragliding.Monte Rosa
The villages in the Monte Rosa ski area offer skiing enthusiasts 196 kilometres of pistes up to an altitude of 3,275 metres. There is probably no other ski area in Italy that is better known for its off-piste terrain and diverse heliskiing tours. Experienced winter sports enthusiasts in particular will be spoilt for choice here. With restaurants, cafés, ski huts, numerous bars and nightclubs, the villages also offer appealing après-ski entertainment.Travel Champoluc
