Cross-country Falcade

Falcade is not just for fans of alpine skiing. Cross-country skiing fans will also find very well groomed cross-country trails that run through the beautiful surrounding nature. The cross-country trails of the "Pietro Scola" cross-country skiing centre, for example, are located on the famous Falcade plateau. Around 10 kilometres of piste are groomed here for classic-style and some for skating-style skiing.

There are numerous other cross-country trails around the Alpe Lusia - San Pellegrino ski area that will make cross-country skiers' hearts beat faster. There are more than 50 kilometres of trails of varying difficulty to explore in the surrounding area. 20 kilometres from Falcade is the village of Moena, where there are several cross-country trails. Among other things, you can ski the Marcialonga marathon trail or the Ciancoal trail, which is floodlit in the evening. The "Alochet" cross-country skiing centre at San Pellegrino is also popular with cross-country skiers and boasts approx. 18 kilometres of trails groomed for classic-style and some for skating-style.
