Ski area Arabba - Marmolada

The Arabba-Marmolada ski area with its 63 kilometres of piste offers a variety of descents for beginners and advanced skiers and is one of the most popular ski areas in the Dolomiti Superski network. Due to its altitude of 1,446 to around 3,269 metres, it is considered to be particularly reliable of snow.

With the Arabba-Marmolada lift pass, winter sports enthusiasts can expect a true skiing paradise at the foot of the so-called "Queen of the Dolomites". A highlight is the 12 km long dream run "Bellunese", which starts at an altitude of 3,269 metres and extends over varied slopes to Malga Ciapela. The "Dolomiti Superski" extension offers winter sports enthusiasts one of the largest ski areas in the world with 1,200 km of pistes, 450 lift systems and 30 snowparks. On the famous "Sellaronda", you can even cross four Dolomite passes over 40 kilometres without having to take off your skis. Breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains are guaranteed!

Beginners are also well catered for with 33 kilometres of blue pistes. The gentler descents are perfect for practising skiers and snowboarders. In the separate ski school area, the little ones can get used to skiing undisturbed.

The Arabba Superpark offers freestylers countless possibilities with tables, kickers, rails and boxes. A funslope also provides plenty of fun on the piste.

Rules of conduct on ski pistes in Italy

To use the ski areas, you must have valid liability insurance that covers damage or injury to third parties. This can also be taken out on site for individual days. Skiing while intoxicated (0.5 per mille or higher BAC) is prohibited and is punishable by heavy fines. To reduce the risk of injury, wearing a helmet is compulsory for everyone (regardless of age, on all ski runs, in snow parks and on toboggan runs). Anyone who does not comply with the helmet requirement will be fined or banned from the slopes.

Après ski Arabba - Marmolada

Large après ski bars and exuberant parties are not exactly the hallmark of Malga Ciapela. The quiet ski resort is more suited to a relaxing afternoon in the hotel's spa area or a leisurely winter walk through the countryside. If you still want to get active, you can enjoy activities such as snowshoe hiking or ice climbing in the natural gorge "Serrai di Sottoguda".

If you still feel like partying after a day on the piste, you can party until 7 pm in the après ski bar "Peter" in Arabba, approx. 25 km away. In the famous World Cup town of Cortina d'Ampezzo, which is about an hour's drive away, party animals will also find a number of bars and clubs with good music and a lively atmosphere.

Snowpark Arabba - Marmolada: Arabba Superpark

Freestylers can let off steam in the Arabba Superpark near the Le Pale chair lift. Numerous tables, kickers, rails and boxes provide variety over a length of 500 metres. The different levels of difficulty are a challenge for beginners and pros alike and provide plenty of fun. A chill-out area with its own shapers and music is the perfect place to relax in between runs.

The Funslope Arabba, which can also be reached via the Le Pale chair lift, adds to the fun on the slopes with steep turns, small jumps, tunnels, bridges and "snails".
