Ski holidays Pozza - southern flair and fantastic skiing!
Pozza
Pozza di Fassa (1,320 m) lies at the foot of the Elfer and Zwölfer peaks in the centre of the Fassa Valley and attracts visitors with its typical southern charm. Its central location makes it an ideal starting point for exploring the unspoilt countryside in the surrounding area. After an active day of skiing, the quaint streets with their cafés and bars with sun terraces invite you to enjoy a coffee, cappuccino or Campari in the sun. Pozza is generally a rather leisurely place, which is particularly beneficial for families. Culture lovers will find the Ladin Museum here, and the natural ice rink invites you to go skating against the impressive backdrop of the surrounding mountains. After an eventful day, you can relax and unwind at the "Dolomia" thermal spa. The sulphurous spring in Pozza is the only one in Trentino.Val di Fassa
The Fassa Valley is located in the southwestern part of the Dolomites in Trentino and borders South Tyrol. The idyllic valley is dominated by some of the most famous peaks in the Dolomites, such as the Rosengarten (3,004 m), the Langkofel (3,181 m), the mighty Sella Group and the impressive Marmolada glacier (3,342 m). The small river Avisio winds its way through the trilingual valley (German, Italian, Ladin) and along its popular villages. With around 110 km of ski pistes and 54 lifts, it is one of the largest ski areas in the Dolomiti Superski network and also offers access to the world-famous Sellaronda. The Fassa Valley, whose main source of income today is tourism, offers its guests not only a first-class ski area but also a wide range of leisure activities with countless opportunities for sport and recreation, tradition and culture, hospitality and, of course, good Trentino cuisine.
