Cross-country Trafoi

Information on cross-country skiing

6 km Cross-country trails (in km):

The Ortler Arena and the Stelvio National Park offer Nordic sports fans a great backdrop for various cross-country tours. A beautiful panoramic trail is located in Trafoi, which with its easy level is suitable for everyone. It starts directly at the camp site in Trafoi and leads through the Fichtenwald forest to the pilgrimage destination "Heilige drei Brunnen". On the 6 km long circuit, classic and skating style skiing is possible. The high altitude trail in Sulden, at a height of 1,900 m, allows for a fantastic view of Ortler, Cevedale and Königspitze over 7 km. In addition, there are some further centres for cross-country skiing in the region, including the Nordic ski centre Schlinig in the ski area Watles (approx. 40 km away). There, another 15 km of trails for beginners and advanced skiers are available.
